When it comes to styling basics, it’s all about the details. An unexpected texture, a bold accessory, or a new spin on the classic white tee – all elements that can completely define an outfit and allow you to incorporate your own personal style into closet essentials. This tee and these zipper leggings (or “peggings” as Karrin’s husband so appropriately coined since they look like pants, ha) are two of my all time favorite purchases. I can mix and match them with SO many other pieces, and I can always count on them to add that special detail that I need to add a simple punch to an outfit.

What are some of your favorite basics-turned-distinct items? And seriously, it is March at the end of next week?! I swear, between work and wedding planning and life in general, I may have a minor panic attack within the next few months. Things are about to get so awesome/crazy!
